“We were thrilled to offer a complete set of Roy Lichtenstein’s ‘Six Still Life Series,’1974, which reached a world-record price of $108,000. This is the first time an intact set has ever come to auction and there was intense interest with bidders from around the world. We are particularly pleased to see bidders responding so enthusiastically to these rare, hard to find works.”

“I was very excited to see the interest in this sale, which was comprehensive in scope and media. Our auction encompassed works from many different periods, including Modernism, Abstract Expressionism, Pop art and Minimalism. We even saw interest in works by newer artists such as Mr. Brainwash and D*Face, who are some of the younger graffiti artists on the scene.”
