We would like to introduce you to Noel Coret, Auctionata expert in Paintings & Sculpture (19th - 20th century) as well as French Impressionist, Fauvist, Cubist paintings.

Noel Coret has been in the art business for 25 years specializing in pre-Impressionist (Barbizon School), modern European schools (Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism) and Contemporary Paintings and Sculpture.

His career began in 1986 when several large galleries in Paris hired him to evaluate paintings from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. He then wrote catalogues and published various articles on the subject.

Mr. Coret was Curator of the Museum of Lagny-sur-Marne in 1999 where he organized an exhibition on Neo-Impressionism which was later installed at the Petit Palais in Geneva. He then became artistic adviser for the museum, whose collections are focused on the School of Paris and European modern artists. Moving to California, he worked for an important gallery specializing in works by European artists from the 19th and 20th centuries.

He edited three volumes on the history of the Salon d'Automne, Salon of Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso, and others, and later organized exhibitions of contemporary artists in Cairo, Riyadh, Moscow, Santiago de Compostela, Beijing, and others. He is currently preparing exhibitions of contemporary art in Tel Aviv and Sao Paolo.

His deep knowledge in both modern and contemporary art has brought him a reputation among dealers as well as artists. Gallery owners and collectors are in high demand of his expertise of multiple periods.

Noel Coret lives and works in France.
