Carey Wallace has over 25 years of experience as an expert in the field of Entertainment Memorabilia with a particular interest in the history of Rock 'n' Roll and its associated artefacts. For more than two decades Carey worked with Christie’s where she founded the Rock, Pop and Film/Popular Culture department. In 2009 she established Wallace & Hodgson with ex-Christie’s colleague and fellow Auctionata expert, Sarah Hodgson, specializing in all areas of the Entertainment Memorabilia market. They work internationally with major artists, auction houses, collectors, corporations and institutions.

While working at Christie’s, Carey was involved with a number of record breaking international auctions, like Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Auction 1999 & 2004 where record prices created headlines all over the world; and in 2008 working on Christie’s most successful Rock and Pop sale ever which included the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts’ Club Band “drumskin” from the LP cover and John Lennon’s handwritten lyrics for Give Peace A Chance.

Carey has worked internationally with major artists, auction houses, collectors, institutions and corporations. Wallace & Hodgson’s work on some of the world’s most important collections has resulted in a reputation for excellence.
