From her first find of a discarded Victorian micro mosaic of the Colosseum in Rome, Rebecca Gool has been hooked on the beauty and value of vintage and antique. The passion for rarities and collectibles was always part of the expert’s life. For several years, Rebecca Gool has been buying and trading unique and chic objects via the internet. She certainly has "the eye" for current trends and an uncanny knowledge of what the market may bear, what will and won't sell and what an object's value is in today's market. Her main areas of expertise cover a wide range of works of glass, including 20th century American Depression Glass, 20th century American Art Glass and Elegant Glass from the middle of the 20th century. Additionally she has a broad expertise of modern household, kitchen and decorative items.
Born in Pennsylvania and having lived in Houston and now New York, her travels have taken her across North America in search of treasures to make available to her customers. She knows that there is no greater joy than that of discovery, learning along the way about the period and piece, and finally sharing that knowledge with others in hopes they may gain and share an appreciation as well.
