Auctionata Expert | Leonhard-Bernsteinstr. 8/2/EG.3
1220 Wien

We would like to introduce you to Thomas Seipt, Auctionata expert in Still Banks, Antique Walking Sticks, Austrian Painting from 1900 - 1940 as well as Architectural Souvenirs.

Thomas Seipt grew up amidst books and lexicons in a family of teachers in the Waldviertel region of Austria. He left the restrictive confines of his childhood home at an early age and headed for Vienna. During his first years in the city he worked as a programmer by day to finance his passion for collecting items at the antique markets. His heart had always belonged to beautiful antique items; up to today his personal definition is that of a hunter and gatherer.

He opened his first antique store in central Vienna while still in his 20s, continuously expanding the scope of his portfolio on numerous international trips. As a result, Mr. Seipt has gained experience in many fields over the course of his career as a dealer and collector.

Mr. Seipt is an autodidact and researcher who meticulously researches and studies his pieces. He has developed a worldwide network and a profound knowledge of the market in his core areas of expertise: walking canes, still banks, and architectural souvenirs. He is an advisor to museums and collectors all over the world.

Thomas Seipt lives and works in Vienna.
