The British Motor Company produced the MGA, successor of the TF1500 between 1955 and 1962. Most of the units left the factory as roadsters, a coupé was also available. It came in the model variants 1500, Twin Cam, 1600 and 1600 De Luxe as well as Mark II and Mark II De Luxe. The MGA took part in many races in the USA, often quite successfully: it won numerous regional and national championships of the Sports Car Club of America. It was used in various classic car races and had appearances in many films, among them Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1968) with Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn or in Power of Love (1995) with Julia Roberts.
This attractive MGA Roadster comes with a bucket seat and a chromed luggage rack, it has been in possession of the consignor for more than 30 years. The car was restored 20 years ago, the engine was revised in 2015, it has matching numbers. The finish has some small discernible blemishes consistent of the age. The heating is currently disabled. Over the past 30 years the car has been used in classic car rallies, for road trips or photo shootings (recently with the singer and actor Peter Kraus) and has always been reliable. The car is registered and has an Austrian vehicle inspection sticker ('TÜV'), valid until 07/16.

A timely collection can also made via a commissioning of Auctionata to a fee-based transport (flat shipping rate). If the time period lapses without a result, the buyer has to pay storage costs in the amount of 25, - € per day.
