Abdullah Qandeel is considered a new ‘Bad Boy’ among international art societies – the media regularly report about his creative outbreaks, including vandalism in hotel rooms due to spontaneous conversions of his suites into atelier spaces. Qandeel’s wildness is highly appreciated, considering the latest 6-digit hammer prices for two paintings at Sotheby’s auctions. Following the motto ‘Anything is his canvas’, Qandeel also turns unusual things like a napkin or a mirror into an art work.
The painting is in very good condition with only minimal abrasions of paint.
