This very first German Superman comic book with the title “Superman ist da!” (“Superman is here!”) was published in September 1966 by Ehapa. This volume first introduced the adventures of Superman to a wider audience in Germany. The superhero was originally created by in the 1930s by the Americans Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, experiencing many changes over the years. Clark Kent is the alter ego of Superman, who uses his extraordinary powers against evil and for the greater good. A modern fairytale that has found great success in many different media!
The comic book is in good, age-related condition. It displays rust marks by the lower bracket, the cover is inscribed. Additionally, there are several small tears on the fold and the right edge.
