We would like to introduce you to David Kroezen, Auctionata expert in Khmer Art, Mekong Art and Indonesian Art.
For David Kroezen, working with South-East Asian art is not only his profession but also a true passion. His love of Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar served as the basis for his fascination of the local art world. The expert has been dealing with art from these regions for more than 30 years.
It comes at no suprise that David Kroezen has not only travelled through those countries but also located his own company in South-east Asia. In 2002, he launched the family enterprise Indonesian Art & Promotion in Indonesia, specialised on advertising and consulting in the areas of art and culture.
The historian engages in the history and culture of Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar since 1978 and therefore provides specialised knowledge about these cultures.
For his clients, he appraises paintings and antiques from Indonesia or Buddha statues and sculptures from Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar. His expertise ranges from tribal to contemporary Southeast Asian art.
Some of his favourite art themes are Indonesian paintings and Khmer antiques.
David Kroezen lives and works in Almelo.
