She has studied both Art History and Classical Archeology, after which she began her career in a Munich-based auction house. She has subsequently held positions at several art fairs and with an antiques dealer in London. She has been successful in her employment as an auctioneer since 1994, and continues her work and research on religious folk art, with an emphasis on sculptures and glass.
