The Porsche 911 was presented in 1963 at the International Motor Show Germany as the successor of the Porsche 356. The name was first ‘901’, but as it was a trademark of Peugeot it had to be changed and the car was introduced on the market as ‘911’ in 1964. It was available as Coupe, Targa and convertible. The G-series was introduced on the market in 1973 and was built until 1989. Eventually it was replaced by the type ‘964’ from the K-series. California was the only home of this Porsche 911 F-Model with oil flap and 2.4 liter engine from 1972 to 2016.
In 2016 the vehicle was shipped to Europe where all duties and taxes have been paid. Following repairs were executed: all 4 wheel bearings and wheels as well as the steering gear were renewed, a new battery has been put in and the brakes were restored. The headlamps got new H4 lights bulbs.
