All works are in very good condition and mounted into a mat. The dimensions of the sheets are 23.8 x 17.8 cm, the portfolio measures 47.5 x 34 cm and comes with a separate and typographically designed front page.
Peter H. Fürst (b. 1939)
The Austrian photographer Peter H. Fürst started to work in his parent’s company, before he studied at the Höhere Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna. Since 1960, Fürst is active as a freelance photographer. Between 1963 and 1968, he worked for Lancôme, Revlon and Sans Soucis. In 1970 he was especially active in the field of lingerie photography and was booked by well-known brands such as Gossard, Palmers and Triumph International. In 1971, Fürst became a member of the Bund Freischaffender Foto-Designer (BFF), which he followed until 2001. In 1973, he also entered the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie e.V. (DGPh). Being a well-established photographer, Fürst worked for numerous international fashion manufacturers. One of his most famous pictures is titled ‘Danielle im schwarzen Dessous’ and belongs to the collection of the Museum Ludwig in Cologne. Peter H. Fürst has been exhibiting his works for decades and published his pictures in a number of beautiful artist’s books. (msc)
