This exceptionally beautiful platinum brooch was made in France around 1910 and is entirely adorned with sparkling diamonds. The 53 antique cut diamonds are set into a finely cut frame work and have an overall weight of approximately 2.65 carat. The filigree brooch is off great craftsmanship and very pleasing to the eye in its Art Déco typical design.
The brooch is in good condition with slight traces of wear. The dimensions are 2.2 x 6 cm and the weight is 11.22 grams. The brooch is hallmarked on the pin stem with an eagle’s head for the purity as well as a cartouch with an unidentifiable French maker’s mark and a serial number on the clasp “197”.
