Wolfgang Kopetschny's passion for collecting regimental beer steins was awakened upon receiving one as a gift from his father for successfully passing his university entrance examination. He studied Electrical Engineering, but his heart was lost to historical militaria objects and soon also to the shiny porcelain enamel signs from the pre-War era.

By the end of the 1980s, Mr. Kopetschny's passion finally became his profession, with outstanding success. Today he is responsible for the most important event in the "vintage advertising scene" - the Pfälzer Reklamebörse (Palatinate Advertising Exchange), and his expertise is highly sought-after by collectors and dealers.

This self-professed "condition" fanatic can recognize every restoration and knows about every kind of forgery. Mr. Kopetschny is always delighted to discover a new find and to share his specialist knowledge with the customers of Auctionata.
